Development Phases
There are three high-level phases to the development of the Gensyn protocol.
Gensyn's core technology will be built and developed in a testnet implementation. Non-permanent testnet tokens will be used. Early adopters and core community members will participate in the testnet. After the token generation event (TGE), participants will be rewarded.
After Gensyn's successful testnet iteration, the protocol will be launched as canary network parachain on the Kusama relay chain. The canary network is a beta version of the protocol. Its use is associated with some risks while at the same time providing access to the latest features of the protocol. During this phase, the canary utility token will be launched which will have economic value.
The Gensyn mainnet is a hardened protocol designed for full use by organizations or individuals. Gensyn's mainnet will be launched as a parachain on the Polkadot relay chain. This phase includes the token generation event during which Gensyn's utility token will be launched.
Future changes to the protocols or new features will go through testnet and canarynet before being launched on mainnet.
